Lifestyle choices can either provoke DNA damage or restore it. In addition, damage to genetic material can result in impaired cellular function, cell loss, or the transformation of healthy cells to cancers. Furthermore, there is much evidence indicating that lifestyle choices play a larger role in health than family history. What we eat can either turn ON or OFF genetic predispositions. Chronic stress, along with other lifestyle factors, can contribute to DNA damage and exacerbate the risk of chronic diseases. Finally, a "wholistic" lifestyle can be the best primary level of prevention that we can take to reduce the risk of chronic disease.

NBC 6 Investigative reporter Myriam Masihy learns about animal protein's effect on the human body and takes a deep dive into the science behind plant-based eating and how it can prevent and reverse many chronic diseases.
DNA Hope® reflects the teaching of Genesis 2: 5-7, which is as follows:
“Before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
This teaching shows us that: (1) All plants & herbs were at heaven before being planted on earth. (2) Man is a living soul. (3) A garden was planted after man was formed where almost every tree was pleasant for food. (4) Our DNA source is from life because only life can give life.
Moreover, it has been proven that processed foods are more likely to shorten our days, whereas, raw foods (sustenance in its aliveness) can lengthen our body’s life. Where nutritionists change their opinion about food around every six years, one has to go back to the essence and the awareness of how our body feels after eating. Energetic or lethargic?
The correlation between the biblical account of man’s creation from the dust of the ground and the scientific composition of the human body is intriguing. The human body indeed comprises materials and minerals predominantly found on the earth’s crust. Oxygen, constituting 65 percent, Carbon, 18 percent, and Hydrogen, 10 percent, are abundant on the surface, aligning with biblical references. The 59 elements in the human body mirror those present in the earth’s crust. While the body isn’t solely made of dust, the concept of God forming man from clay, as mentioned in Job 10:9 and Romans 9:20-21, parallels the mixture of dust and water.
Finally, maintaining specific proportions of minerals and materials, reflect a healthy human composition, emphasizing the significance of balance in avoiding disorders. The alignment of biblical narrative and scientific elements adds a fascinating dimension to the understanding of human creation.
